Bed sizes are not consistent across the globe and a number of major bed sizing systems are in use around the world, including American, UK, European, Australian and New Zealand sizes. The size of a bed is by general consensus considered to be the size of the mattress that will be used with it. Most countries have their own standards and names however there is some consistency of naming in English speaking countries (and equivalent sizes in other countries that can be related to the English names) as follows:

Notes On The Table
General
Conversions are done to the nearest centimetre or inch and are taken from the standard unit in use in the country or region. The US and UK use feet and inches as their standard measure for beds, with the rest of the world using centimetres (cm) or metres (m) as their standard.
North America (US/Canada)
Quirkily in North America a one person single bed is called a Twin. A basic two person bed is called a Full.
UK & Ireland
The UK and Ireland don't use the name Queen, instead the King size bed in the UK is equivalent to a Queen size elsewhere and the UK uses the term Super King for the size that is named King in other regions.
Europe
European single mattress sizes are generally 90cm x 200cm from manufacturers that supply to many European countries, local manufacturers sizes may vary from country to country with 190cm beds and mattresses also being fairly common.
South America
South American countries use the same nomenclature as the UK & Ireland with King and Super King being used instead of Queen and King. 200cm length beds and mattresses are also generally available.
South Africa
200cm (6'7') length beds are available for all sizes in addition to the standard 188cm length. They are known as Extra Length beds.
Quick-Start Guide
Feeder 3 6 4 X 8 Ft.
When you enter an equation into the calculator, the calculator will begin by expanding (simplifying) the problem. Then it will attempt to solve the equation by using one or more of the following: addition, subtraction, division, taking the square root of each side, factoring, and completing the square. This calculator can be used to factor polynomials.
Variables
Any lowercase letter may be used as a variable.
Exponents
Exponents are supported on variables using the ^ (caret) symbol. For example, to express x2, enter x^2. Note: exponents must be positive integers, no negatives, decimals, or variables. Exponents may not currently be placed on numbers, brackets, or parentheses.
Parentheses and Brackets

Parentheses ( ) and brackets [ ] may be used to group terms as in a standard equation or expression.
Multiplication, Addition, and Subtraction
For addition and subtraction, use the standard + and - symbols respectively. For multiplication, use the * symbol. A * symbol is not necessary when multiplying a number by a variable. For instance: 2 * x can also be entered as 2x. Similarly, 2 * (x + 5) can also be entered as 2(x + 5); 2x * (5) can be entered as 2x(5). The * is also optional when multiplying with parentheses, example: (x + 1)(x - 1).
Order of Operations
The calculator follows the standard order of operations taught by most algebra books - Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division, Addition and Subtraction. The only exception is that division is not supported; attempts to use the / symbol will result in an error.
Division, Square Root, Radicals, Fractions
The above features are not supported.
